SUNDAY vs Godmersham Park XI Post code CT4 7DT

Access is via the A28.  Coming from Canterbury you’ll turn off the A252 just before Chilham.  After around 3km there is a staggered
crossroads with Godmersham and Crundale Village Hall on the left.  You need to turn right here in to the Godmersham Park estate.  Keep going
over a small bridge and straight on (don’t turn left) just after the left turning there is a car park on the left.  Park up here and you
need to walk through the back of the car park to the far side of the big house where the pitch is.  Remember this isn’t a permanent ground
so no showers or clubhouse.

Godmersham has no club or ground as such but play in front of the impressive Godmersham House a couple of times a year.

 

Unfortunately, accommodation has not been reserved so if you were planning to stay either Friday or Saturday night you will have to book
you own accommodation. Jim and Phil have suggested that people stay in Canterbury. Jim has searched the internet and found accommodation in
the area. Jim's suggestions include the Premier Inn, Holiday Inn, Keynes college University of Kent, Rutherford college University of
Kent, Victoria hotel Canterbury. Prices vary from £27 up to £80 per night.
